Welcome to the Spring 2024 edition of our community magazine, EMS Proud!, in partnership with 287 North Living. Once again, we have the distinct pleasure of sharing stories that celebrate the heart and soul of our extraordinary
school district.
I want to express our deepest gratitude for the support we receive from this community we serve. From our dedicated educators and staff to our passionate parents and involved citizens, you are the foundation upon which EMS ISD thrives. Our care for, and dedication to, this community is what fuels our commitment to fostering a culture of excellence for every student who walks through our doors. As a fast-growing, destination school district, we are poised to serve our thriving community.
Within the pages of EMS Proud! you’ll discover a glimpse of the great things happening in our schools that enhance our community. You’ll read about how we offer a variety of academic and extracurricular choices across our campuses to meet the interests and needs of all our students. From advanced academics to career and technical education, you’ll discover how EMS ISD is saving students and their parents money in the cost of post-high school education by offering such a wide range of advanced placement, dual credit, and professional certification opportunities. It has become routine for students to graduate with a full year of college credits or the ability to enter directly into the workforce through specialized training and
certification provided through our career and technical education programs. There also is an update on the progress being made on the 2017 and 2023 bond projects, as well as information about athletic UIL realignments and our Fine Arts Showcase at Bass Hall.
