Strange Laws from Across the Nation
Since the theme of this month’s magazine is legal, we decided to do something a little off the beaten path and create a list of what we feel are the weirdest laws from across our great nation. These are rumored to either still exist or existed at one point but have since been repealed or amended to catch up with the times. Either way, they’re hilarious.
ALASKA
In Alaska, it is illegal to wake a sleeping bear to take a photo
ARKANSAS
It is illegal in Arkansas to mispronounce Arkansas
ARIZONA
In Arizona, no one can feed garbage to a pig without first obtaining a permit

You can legally play pinball in South Carolina if you are at least 18 years old

TENNESSEE

UTAH
First cousins do have the option of marrying each other in Utah, but only after they’re 65
