Train & Grain Festival
Local Student’s Artwork Chosen as Official Logo
The City of Saginaw has announced that the official logo for the 2025 Train & Grain Festival design was inspired by Saginaw High School student Miranda Terrebonne. The announcement was made during a special presentation at Saginaw High School, where Terrebonne unveiled her design to Mayor Todd Flippo and city officials. “I’ve done art all my life, this is the greatest honor,” Terrebonne said. “I want to be a civil engineer, and part of that is art. This gives me hope toward pursuing my dreams.” The city partnered with Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District (EMS ISD) for the student logo contest, part of a broader initiative to promote youth engagement and community involvement. “We have always had a strong partnership with EMS ISD,” said Mayor Flippo. “We love getting our students involved because they are the leaders of tomorrow.” City council members praised the collaboration, noting the importance of showcasing young local talent and integrating student creativity into public celebrations.
