Shifting Gears Into Summer, And Beyond!
From the desk of the Superintendent
Another school year has come to a close, and what a year it has been! From packed gymnasiums and concert halls to academic recognitions, championship moments, and powerful student presentations, the 2024–2025 school year in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD was filled with achievement, growth, and community. I am deeply proud of our students and the incredible educators, staff, and families who pour their hearts into helping each child thrive.
At the end of May, I had the honor of watching more than 1,500 graduates from Boswell, Chisholm Trail, Saginaw, and Watson high schools walk across the stage. Each diploma represented more than a culmination, it marked the beginning of a bright and promising future. Whether headed to college, the workforce, the military, or other paths, our graduates are ready. They leave us equipped with knowledge, resilience, and purpose. And behind every student is a story, often filled with challenge, triumph, and the steady support of families, teachers, mentors, and friends. Next year, we will celebrate graduates from our newest campus, Eagle Mountain High School. I am certain we will have even more stories of triumph to celebrate.
As we shift gears into summer, I hope our families find time to relax, recharge, and reconnect. Whether it’s a road trip, a backyard barbecue, or simply a chance to slow down and enjoy being together, summer is a season to treasure.
At the same time, we are already hard at work preparing for a strong start to the 2025–2026 school year. Registration and returning student verification are open, and I strongly encourage families to complete these steps now at www.emsisd.com/registration. Early registration helps us place staff where they’re needed most and avoid unnecessary disruptions in the fall. When students are matched with the right teachers and the right support from day one, everyone benefits.
Thank you, EMS ISD families, for your partnership. The work we do together is life-changing and that truth was never more visible than it was this spring. Have a safe and joyful summer. We’ll see you in August, ready to soar into a new year!
