North Tarrant Fall Fest
Seeking Sponsors, Vendors, Entertainers & Families
The North Tarrant Chamber of Commerce has created a new event connected to Texas Arbor Day to provide a place where entire families can enjoy themselves while promoting the outdoors. The North Tarrant Fall Fest is scheduled to take place Nov. 7-9 at the newly renovated North Park in Haltom City. It will celebrate the beauty, environment, and future sustainability of the area.
“We want to have something that will kind of showcase everything great about North Tarrant County,” said North Tarrant Chamber President/Chief Executive Officer Jack Bradshaw.
“We as a regional Chamber want to help the sustainability of the area. We always want it to be a great area with green spaces where people can gather and can appreciate living and working right in this area.”
The festival will allow attendees to enjoy the park that features a four-acre fishing pond stocked by the Texas Association of Wildlife, plus an amphitheater, walking trails, and a new playground.
“There really isn’t a great fall festival right here. There’s been a lot of investment put into North Park where we’re having the event which is very exciting,” Jack added. “We purposely paralleled the event with Texas Arbor Day so that we put a focus on the best time to plant a tree in Texas. We wanted to make people more conscious of that.”
Partnering with the Chamber will be cities along the I-820 corridor – Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Saginaw, and Watauga.
“We’re working on a sponsorship where we could give every family a tree,” Jack said. “We want people focused on planting trees to help the whole sustainability thing with better air and better beauty.”
Among the planned features are kid-themed activities, a petting zoo, a kids’ zone with rides and inflatables, live performances, and food booths/food trucks. Opportunities for arts and crafts vendors also will be available.
“We hope to have Peppa Pig out there,” said Jack, noting the first Peppa Pig Theme Park in Texas that recently opened in North Richland Hills. “It is only the second one in the country and we’re really happy they picked North Richland Hills.”
The plan for Fall Fest is to focus on family-friendly activities during the day and more adult-focused events at night.
“We’re working right now on a lineup of bands right now for Friday and Saturday,” Jack said.
“At the heart of this event, we want to create a family-friendly fun event where people can gather and spend time outside together. For people who come from out of town, we want to showcase the beauty of North Tarrant County and see how easy it is to access this area!”

You can eat out and you can shop.”
