An Empire Built on Everyday Food

It was 47 years ago that Mazen Haddad traveled from Jordan to America.
He brought with him a dedicated
work ethic and firsthand experience in business in general and in the restaurant industry in particular.

Mazen waded into his new life with a clear plan. He intended to spend a few years managing restaurants for other people and then strike out with his self-owned eateries. 

In January 2025, Mazen opened his sixth restaurant, Moe’s Country Kitchen, at 7420 N Beach Street at the corner of Beach Street and Basswood in Fort Worth. It’s a prime location, with a busy shopping center and close to popular Silver Sage Park. Open for less than six months, it already has a large group of regular customers.

Moe’s, the third restaurant with the nickname of son Moatze, follows the plan established from the first day of Mazen’s empire-building.

“I wanted everyday comfort foods,” he said, “but I wanted them to have a special twist that made them delicious and memorable. I wanted everything served by smiling, friendly staff. I wanted the entire atmosphere to be cozy and comfortable with a feeling of family. We’ve made a few adjustments along the way, but we’ve never moved far from our original guidelines. 

“Some of our employees have been with us since 2004, so they’re very familiar with our style. Many of our customers comment on how our staff supports the overall family atmosphere, which is exactly what we want.”

It’s an understatement to say Moe’s menu is extensive. Really, it’s huge! At the core is classic country food with hearty, lip-smacking breakfasts. There are exciting touches of Tex Mex tucked in, along with a star-studded gallery of hamburgers. 

And the pies! The homemade pies that can make customers’ eyes sparkle. No diet in the world can stand up to them. And the prices are as mouth-watering as the food.

Moe’s offers pickup and delivery with
online ordering. Hours are 6 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday, and 6 am to
3 pm on Sunday.

Business is seven days per week because that’s the dedication required for building a legacy.
