May is one of the Most Meaningful Months!
As the school year begins to wind down, May is one of the most meaningful times in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. It’s a season filled with milestones, celebrations, and opportunities to reflect on the growth and accomplishments of our students and staff.
From end-of-year performances and award ceremonies to field days and final projects, there is so much to celebrate. One of the most memorable milestones, of course, is graduation. In just a few short days, we will watch the Class of 2026 walk the stage. This is a proud moment for our students, their families, and our entire
community. This year is especially meaningful as Eagle Mountain High School celebrates its first graduating class. I’ve had the opportunity to watch this campus grow, and seeing these students reach this milestone is something truly special for our district. The success of all our graduates reflects years of hard work, support, and dedication, and we are excited to see all they will accomplish next.
While we are focused on finishing the school year strong, we are also looking ahead. This time of year is always important for planning, and we are excited to share a new opportunity that expands access to EMS ISD.
We are launching limited open enrollment, giving families who live outside district boundaries the opportunity to apply to attend our schools. While space will be limited at select campuses and grade levels, this initiative allows more families to experience the strong academics, supportive environments, and wide range of programs that make EMS ISD a destination school district.
We are proud of what our schools offer and are committed to growing thoughtfully while continuing to serve our current students at the highest level. For families interested in learning more about limited open enrollment and the application process, please visit www.emsisd.com/openenrollment.
Thank you for your continued support of EMS ISD. It is an honor to serve this community, and I look forward to celebrating the close of another successful school year together.
Jerry D. Hollingsworth, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools,
