Celebrating our successes while looking ahead!
As another successful school year has now ended, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments that made this year so special in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
The final weeks of school were filled with celebrations, and nothing captures the spirit of our district quite like graduation. We proudly celebrated the Class of 2026 as around 2,000 students crossed the stage and began the next chapter of their journeys. These graduates leave EMS ISD prepared for college, careers, military service, and countless opportunities ahead. They have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and determination, and we could not be prouder of all they have achieved. This year was especially meaningful as Eagle Mountain High School celebrated its first graduating class, marking an important milestone in our community’s history.
Beyond graduation, this year was filled with remarkable accomplishments across our schools. Our students earned recognition in academics, fine arts, athletics, career and technical education, and extracurricular programs, including quite a few state championships. We are encouraged by the academic gains from our students using our new high quality instructional materials in elementary and middle school, and we received Advanced Placement (AP) High School Honor Roll recognition, highlighting the commitment of our students and staff to academic excellence.
The success of EMS ISD is truly a team effort, and we are fortunate to be part of a community that values education and invests in the future of our children.
I hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a well-deserved summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories. While summer provides an opportunity to slow down, we look forward to welcoming students back for the first day of school on August 13.
