A Message From the Superintendent
Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD – Fostering a Culture of Excellence
Welcome to the Fall 2024 edition of EMS Proud in partnership with 287 North Living! As we settle into this new school year, the excitement is tangible across Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. Our students, staff and families continue to make EMS ISD a community where excellence thrives, and there’s so much to look forward to in the months ahead.
One important update I’d like to share with you is that EMS ISD is actively engaged in the search for our next superintendent. While I remain honored to serve as your superintendent until my retirement in January, our Board of Trustees is working closely with a third-party search firm, Thompson & Horton, LLP, to identify the district’s next leader. This process is being guided by input from community members, staff and families, ensuring that we find someone who will build on our district’s strong foundation of success and growth.
This fall also marks exciting milestones in our district. Thanks to the continued support of our community through bond initiatives, we’ve opened our fourth high school, Eagle Mountain High School, and continue expanding personalized opportunities for our students. Whether it’s our fine arts performances, athletic competitions, or academic accomplishments, we have much to celebrate. I encourage you to get involved by attending events, volunteering at a school and joining us as we highlight the achievements of our incredible students and staff.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we remain EMS Proud.
Sincerely,
Jim F. Chadwell, Ed.D.
EMS ISD Superintendent
